Condition

I am the original owner and have always driven the car responsibly.
The odometer just turned 43,600 miles.
Exterior is near new. There are no scratches, dings or dents.
Interior is near new. There are no rips, tears or gouges anywhere.
The car is always garaged and has never sat in the sun for long periods of time.
The car has never been smoked in.
The car is cleaned and waxed regularly.
The car has never been tracked.
The car has never had any mechanical problems.
The car has never been in an accident.
The car receives regular oil changes at Premier Mazda in Georgetown.
The car drives like new. There are no rattles, creaks or squeaks
New! The front tires are brand new as of May 3rd.
The rear tires were moved from the fronts on May 3rd and have lots of tread remaining. I use Kumho ECSTA SPT 225/45ZR-18. They're much better, quieter and cheaper than the stock tires.

My comments about the car

I originally went to the Mazda dealer in August, 2004 to look at the Mazda 3 and Mazda 6, as I needed a car with a usable back seat. I also decided to test drive the RX-8. I immediately feel in love with this car and bought this one you see here.

The car is so light and nimble, and the rotary engine is so incredibly smooth. The transmission is the best manual I have ever driven.

This RX-8 is the best overall sports car I have driven, combining quickness, agility, 4 usable seats and a very usable trunk.

The Racing Beat exhaust, intake and ram air duct I installed help the engine to rev even smoother and faster, and they make the car sound awesome. Below 4000 RPM, the car has a nice throaty growl, but not loud. Above 4000 RPM, the sound starts to open up a bit, and above 7000 RPM it sounds amazing.

The Kelley Blue Book and Edmunds estimated value of my car without all of the extras is $19,500. My car has over $5000 in additional options that Kelley Blue Book and Edmunds don't account for.

Why am I selling this amazing car? I haven't used the back seat much in the past year, and I have decided to replace the RX-8 with a Boxster. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this car, I am just moving to a 2 seat convertible.
